Simone Lahorgue Nunes becomes member of the SLAPP Research Group

Partner Simone Lahorgue Nunes has become a member of the SLAPP Research Group, an independent international platform dedicated to advancing research on strategic litigation against public participation (SLAPPs) and anti-SLAPP reform.

The Group, made up of scholars, legal practitioners, and advocates from multiple countries, exchange knowledge, promote collaboration, and enhance understanding of the impact of SLAPPs on media freedom, public discourse, and democratic accountability.

Simone’s expertise in media law and her academic work at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) Law School, where she teaches Media & Entertainment Law, position her as a valuable contributor to this critical field of research that sits at the intersection of freedom of expression, right to information and access to justice.
