Deep and multifocal practice on Media and Entertainment, Privacy and Data Protection.

We specialize in assisting clients hailing from the Media and Entertainment segment, as well as counseling on Privacy and Data Protection matters.
Our advice consists of an in-depth and multifocal assessment of issues, which aims at structuring the best legal solution, taking into consideration potential risks and identifying alternatives that meet our client’s business needs.
In case this assessment requires knowledge of other areas of law that are out of our scope, or if it demands a more sizable team, we work together with carefully selected partners to provide a comprehensive assistance, with the same quality standard.
This format stems from our founding partner’s 20-year experience as in-house general counsel for companies and as a partner in a full-service law firm for the past 11 years. This long period maintaining relationships with external firms highlighted the importance of identifying the most talented professionals in each area, to reach the best possible legal assistance. This model also allows for a better cost-benefit service.
We also stand out for offering tailor-made training for in-house counsel, in each of our areas of expertise.

The international experience of our founding partner, Simone Lahorgue Nunes (Certified Information Privacy Professional / Europe CIPP-E, Certified Information Privacy Manager CIPM, and Certified Data Protection Officer CDPO/BR), combined with her knowledge gained as co-chair of the Technology Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) during the 2015/2016 bi annual term, has provided our team with a unique opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of the European framework, specifically the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which inspired the Brazilian LGPD. Therefore, our legal team has the expertise required to assist GPDR-compliant clients in adapting to the LGPD.
